Michigan Wedding Music Entertainment

Do you want to dance your way to I do? Great, well we have provided in this article guidelines that will enhance the Michigan wedding music you decide to go with. Keep in mind, that there are two separate events you might need music for. This includes your wedding ceremony and wedding reception afterwards Michigan Wedding Music for your ceremony The music should be in keeping with the style of wedding you have chosen (formal, semiformal, or informal. This is achieved through the use of traditional, sacred, and contemporary music). You can combine one or more type of music for a pleasing effect.

If you are being married in a church, the church organist can offer many suggestions of appropriate wedding music and acquaint you with any possible restrictions on the type of music that may be used. You may elect to use only one selection of music for the entire processional or choose to have one of the entrances of the other members of the bridal party and another for yourself. When only one selection is used for the processional, the instrumentalists may increase the volume of the music to indicate your entrance. When a separate selection is being used for your processional, the organist could chime the hour, play a fanfare, or add a flourish of trumpets or chimes to signal your entrance.

Each selection of music may be played a little faster or slower, a little louder or softer. By changing the pace and the level of sound, a selection may be appropriate for use as either a processional (slower) or a recessional (faster).

When using more than one instrumentalist for the processional (i.e.duet, trio, quartet, or quintet), it is recommended that you ask them to attend the rehearsal to practice the timing of the entrance of the entire bridal party. Find out also whether the church requires you to use only their own musicians before you ask someone else to participate. Your choice of instrumentalists and vocalists may be restricted by the ceremony site.

Be sure you have heard the individuals perform before asking them to be part of your wedding day. Be prepared to pay each musician either a fee set by the individual or union scale. Give them a payment envelope at the close of the wedding rehearsal, if they attend, or upon arrival the day of the wedding.

If the performers need any special music, you are responsible for getting it to them as soon as possible. They will need time to work any necessary rehearsals into their schedules. Have the musicians be responsible for setting their own practice times, dates, and locations with each other. You might check later to see if they are prepared.

for your reception

Use the same procedure in hiring musicians for the reception as you do for the wedding. You might consider using the same musicians for both. Especially with groups, be sure you are hiring the musicians you are hearing. Feel free to use a combination of musical styles to entertain your guests (classical, broad way tunes, pop, rock, ethnic).

To provide continuous music, you may use a combination of live and taped music. You may also decide to have only recorded music. A Michigan DJ is usually an experienced emcee and is able to entertain your guests with a variety of music styles.

Be sure to set a limit on the level of sound for any amplified instruments. The sound level should not hinder conversation. Payment to the musicians should be made immediately before they leave the reception area. You might also consider inviting your guests to have a special part in your day by sharing their talents during the reception. On a final note, you want to select music from a top wedding song list so your entertainment can give you what you desire. There are many different ways to go about hiring Michigan wedding entertainment. The main goal is to make sure it fits with your style, whether this is class or fun. Every bride wants the best wedding everArticle Search, so take your time with your decision and enjoy these stages in planning your special day.

How Much Does a Wedding DJ Cost, Prices, Pricing

You pretty much have most of the vendors chosen for your wedding, but now onto the wedding DJ pricing. So how much does a wedding DJ cost? You will see many different wedding DJ prices, keep these points in mind and you will find the right one.

Cheap Wedding DJ Prices

These prices will usually be in the ranges of 100.00 an hour or less. Many of these wedding DJs are part time hobbyists. They might have no idea how to coordinate and deliver what you want at your wedding. Just call these companies and you will notice a huge difference with their customer service skills. This might be a risky deal because they might show up with low grade equipment (if they even show up at all). There is a possibility that you can spend $200-$600 on your wedding DJ and be happy, but you have to understand what cheap wedding DJ prices really mean.

My Recommendation: Never hire a wedding DJ that costs less than your veggie tray

Average Wedding DJ Pricing

So you biggest criteria was your budget, and you went way overboard. So instead, you and your finace decided to hire someone to “Just Play Music”. Do you want the good news or bad news first? Okay straight to the good news, you just save 100 bucks! Unfortunately your decision might cost you thousands down the road. This category of wedding DJs is priced all over the place. Usually many are larger wedding DJ companies that subcontract 15-25 wedding DJs every weekend. They improve their profit margin this way (more DJs=smaller profit margin) to support advertisements and overhead. There are many good DJs that are subcontracted by these companies. However, they might be so big that you might not know who will your wedding DJ until the week of.

I said earlier that there is a difference between a full-time company and part-time hobbyist. A full-time company depends on your referrals to generate future leads and business. This means that they are 110% dedicated to your wedding reception. The wedding DJ cost needs be looked at with their references. Ask for recent clients’ names, phone numbers, and e-mails. When I say recent I mean 6 months or less when available. Any reputable company will be able to give you this information.

My Recommendation: Let the buyer Beware

Expensive Wedding DJ Prices

These people may charge anywhere from $1500-$4500. There may be added value, such as an additional DJ/wedding coordinator, lighting, staging, dancers, or props. Other times, this price is determined by an owner with an overinflated ego. If their wedding DJ cost is expensive, then this does not mean that they have instant credibility. This price might be marked up since they do not have enough word of mouth referrals yet. You should not have to take out a second mortgage to pay for your wedding DJ cost. If this sounds like fun to you, then by all means go for it. You will have a BLAST.

My Recommendation: Get everything in writing, and question anything that might be overkill

How Much Does a Wedding DJ Cost

So, how much does a wedding DJ cost? This depends on how comfortable you are with the lighting, experience, equipment, music, and fun options. You should try unique things because your wedding is far from ordinary. This does not mean you need to break the bank with wedding DJ prices, but see what options are really worth the cost. The typical wedding DJ cost will vary between $800-$1200. In the short term the wedding DJ price will be a factor in your budget, and long term 80% of the success of your wedding is based on the entertainment. If you want to have a great time, you will interview multiple companies.

My Recommendation: Stay away from the cheapestFree Web Content, don’t go with the most expensive and do not hire anyone that is average

Robert Reno DJs for Michigan wedding receptions. His services are not cheap or expensive, and they are far from average. He works for Encore Entertainment & Productions. For more info about how much does a wedding dj cost, please visit their Michigan DJs page.

We're Having A Butterfly Themed Wedding - Release The Butterflies!

The butterfly is a beautiful creature that many are incredibly fond of. Have you ever wanted a wedding filled with these gorgeous, delicate creatures? Now you can have that butterfly themed wedding plus much, much more. With wedding favors decked out in butterflies, as well as a few other tweaks, you could have the butterfly wedding of your dreams.

Let us paint a picture in our minds. We do not need a typical white wedding dress, if you'd prefer not to wear one. Choose maybe a dress of a pastel color, such as a light blue, periwinkle, or pale pink. Instead of releasing doves as the bride comes down the aisle, release elegant butterflies of all types. As the bride steps down to the music of her choice, the butterflies are released moments later, and a rush of color sweeps behind the bride as she walks down the aisle. The altar and the aisle seats are draped in a soft fabric that compliments the pastel color of the bride's dress. The bridesmaids can also be dressed in pastel color dresses, with the groomsmen in matching ties or shirts.

As the ceremony comes to an end, the celebration begins. We enter into a room decorated with tables, chairs, and a stage for music. On each table a white cloth is draped over. In the center of each of these tables a small frame is placed, decorated with butterflies, and the couple being celebrated, smiling in the picture. Surrounding the frame are small butterfly tea lights, which creates an inexpensive centerpiece perfect for low lighting. Small, pewter butterfly card holders are placed around the table displaying the guest's names proudly. A large cake is rolled out decorated with our theme, butterflies in vibrant colors dance around the cake. Bottles of champagne sit next to our beautiful cake, each bottle topped with a butterfly bottle stopper. The guests are greeted by our theme in abundance, but it only gets better.

Each guest can leave with the perfect wedding day favor. Perhaps in the center of each table a few little butterfly bookmark's can be placed. Joining the bookmarks can be butterfly key chains, candles, and magnetic memo clips. The bookmarks are oval and silver, topped with a silver butterfly. A simple silver butterfly key chain is an ideal wedding favor as well. Candles are one item that may be a little tougher because there are just so many to choose from! Should we go with a small pastel one, with a butterfly painted on it? Or perhaps a pewter butterfly that holds a small tea light? If you can not decide which direction you would like to head with candles, there is always a small silver butterfly that also acts as a magnetic memo holder, perfect for any of your guest's fridge!

We wouldn't want to overwhelm guests with too many butterflies, but little wedding favors are perfect with pastel colors. And all of these favors are within any bride's budget! So go wildBusiness Management Articles, and release the butterflies!!

Event Planners Wedding Coordinators

Wedding coordinators are available to orchestrate the varied details associated with a successful Michigan wedding and reception. The cost of a coordinator varies greatly and depends largely on the amount of time spent on your wedding.

How to Tips for Event Planners

By using articles and expert advice, you can handle the wedding preliminaries yourself, but it is still wise to use event planners to help keep your wedding day organized. A coordinator can smooth the wedding day's progression and so help provide the relaxed and enjoyable day you desire. A relative or close friend may be able to do the wedding day coordinating for you. Many churches have wedding hostesses who know about church facilities and policies.

How to Tips for Wedding Coordinators

- Acquaint yourself with the ceremony site.

- Discuss with the bride and groom any wedding policies of the ceremony site.

- Be available to assist the bride and groom by answering questions, offering suggestions, and having names of available resources for services.

- Be as organized as possible, with all wedding day information in one place.

- As you assist the bridal couple in planning their big day, know the following;

(1) Who will be giving the bride away?

(2) Will the bridal couple be having a double-ring ceremony? Who will have the rings?

(3) Will the officiant provide the wording for the vows, or will the bride and groom be writing their own?

(4) Will communion (the Eucharist) be observed? Who will participate?

(5) Will the lighting of the unity candle be included?

(6) What other special observances will be a part of the outdoor Michigan ceremony?

(7) Who will have the marriage license? When and where will it be signed?

(8) Will the bridal couple have a receiving line? If so, where? Who will be involved?

(9) Who will be responsible for cleaning out the bride’s dressing room? The grooms dressing room?

(10) Who will be responsible for audio and/or videotapes of the ceremony? of the reception?

(11) If a preceremony buffet is to be served at the ceremony site, who will be responsible for setup? Serving? Cleanup?

(12) Where will the reception be? How soon will it follow the ceremony?

(13) Who will be responsible for taking the guest book to the reception? To whose home afterward?

(14) Who will be responsible for transporting the gifts from the ceremony site? from the reception site? To whose house?

- Confirm your arrival time for both the rehearsal and ceremony with the custodian of the facility (or other designated person). This time should be early enough to accomplish any necessary advance preparations: unlocking doors, setting up equipment and accessories, turning on lights, heating or air conditioning, etc.

- Confirm with the bride the arrival times of the bridal party, the brides and grooms parents, and grandparents, special others, the officiants, musicians, florist, photographer, DJ, etc. On the wedding day be available to greet each one, to answer any questions, and to give any last-minute instructions.

- At the rehearsal, review the wedding day arrival times with the participants who’s to be where and when - and indicate to them the importance of being on time.

- If possible, have all the decisions concerning the ceremony made prior to the rehearsal. If any unexpected changes do occur, they should quickly be addressed to the bride.

- Make certain that each of the ushers receives a list of his responsibilities at the ceremony site. Also, take time at the rehearsal to demonstrate exactly how they are to usher, and allow them to practice. Don't assume they already know what to do.

- As the wedding coordinator you will probably be responsible for collecting any fees or honorariums from the bride and groom. These may be disbursed either at the rehearsal, before the ceremony, or after the reception, as previously indicated by the recipients.

- Determine how many seats (or pews) need to be reserved for special seating, and who will be sitting where.

- Before the florist leaves the premises on the wedding day, count the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages to make certain all the needed flowers are there.

- Know when and where the photographer will be taking pictures.

- When an aisle runner is being used, make certain it has been firmly pinned and taped in place. Tape the end of the runner down once it has been pulled up the aisle to keep it taut.

- If the facility is not equipped with a signaling system, a small flashlight may be used to cue the musicians for the start of the processional and for any other special timing needs.

- Be prepared for possible emergencies with a special bag that includes these items: aspirin, breath mints, clear nail polish, emery boards, facial tissues, hair spray, iron, sanitary napkins, scissors, sewing kit, spot remover, static spray, and straight and safety pins.

- Another bag may contain: pins (for flowers and for pinning the aisle runner in place), small flashlight (for signaling musicians), hair dryer (for hair needs and candle wax removal), masking tape (for marking the positions of the bridal party), matches or lighter (for lighting candles or candle lighters), measuring tape (for locating positions of the bridal party), scotch tape (for taping gift cards to packages)Computer Technology Articles, black ink pens (for signing the marriage license).

Men And Wedding Plans

Being a man I had always imagined that if and when I got engaged to be married I would have little to worry about in the way of wedding plans and things of that nature. Perhaps I was being a bit chauvinistic in my assumption that brides took care of and addressed all plans and problems surrounding the wedding. In truth all I ever wanted at my wedding was an open bar and some good rock n roll. I cared very little about anything beyond those two must haves.

Well my fantasies of the perfect “man gathering” as my wife calls it where shattered post haste as plans for the wedding took off at a hurried pace and I was swept up in the pandemonium that is planning for such an event. My then fiancée expressed great interest in having me participate along with her in the planning of our day of joy. She didn’t expect me to pick a DJ, band, and brand of liquor to serve and then quietly sit back and watch her finalize the rest the plans. She conveyed with great emotion that she had hoped that I would be with her to meet with florists, DJ’s, photographers, etc. As a man I had no opposition to this however I wanted to avoid this type of thing for fear of being stricken with boredom.

As the fates would have it, I agreed and gave our wedding my full attention and partook in all aspects of planning our wedding. Ironically meeting with all the different vendors and even wedding officiants was anything but boring. These people treat weddings as though they are creating fine, priceless pieces of art and I was amused at just how serious they took each and every wedding they provided services to. This helped to make the experience much more enjoyable than I had envisioned it to be.

There was one activity that was less than thrilling for both my wife and me and that was looking at Mens Wedding bands and trying to find one that I would actually consider wearing. Prior to getting engaged I had never given much thought to men’s jewelry and though I had accepted the fact that I would be wearing some sort of wedding band, I had strong reservations about wearing any rings I considered to be effeminate. The search for a suitable wedding band was long and arduous and the tension that mounted with each visit to a jeweler was palpable.

Eventually after what we agreed to be an exhaustive and tumultuous search we began looking online for Mens Wedding bands and we were both surprised at what we found. Men’s rings made from platinum, titanium and tungsten where littered all over each website. It appeared to us that these sites were really pushing these types of rings and after reading multiple reviews on such topics we found out why. Luckily for me I turned out to be but one of many men who despised the traditional gold, silver, and diamond men’s rings. Not only do many men feel those rings are a misrepresentation of their masculinityFree Reprint Articles, but they also feel these rings lack any style. When our online expedition for the perfect ring concluded I ended up with a multicolored Tungsten ring with fancy inlets. It is both reflective of my inner man and oozes class and style.

Once our quest for a ring was finished we wrapped up a few small loose ends and then waited out the remaining six month between that and our wedding on the couch watching our favorite movies and television shows. Any men who are close to proposing or accepting a proposal should prepare themselves for a long but enjoyable planning process. Don’t be afraid to take part in the planning of your wedding. It can only serve to make the event great.

Scott is a newlywed that was completley suprised at the wide selelction of Mens Wedding bands that are avaliable to men like him.

Wedding Day Entertainment

After the ceremony, everyone of your wedding guests is in a great mood and want to start letting their hair down and enjoying the rest of the day. First thing after the wedding ceremony usually comes the wedding photographer’s main time to snap the happy couple. This means plenty of standing around for all the wedding guests, just waiting for their call to jump into one or two of the official photographs.

Why not hire a magician to wander round entertaining the wedding guests whilst they are standing around waiting for the photos to finish ? This is a great time for a close up magician to really show off his (or her) skills - gathering small groups of guests together and making the guests that don't know each other have something to discuss already. Assuming the wedding photographer spends an hour or so on the official photographs, the magician could also spend a further hour entertaining the wedding guests once they have taken their seats for the wedding breakfast.

If a magician is not your cup of tea, why not consider hiring a live musician to entertain the wedding guests during the meal. A solo guitarist or harpist can really set a beautiful scene and make perfect background ambience for your special day. Pianists are also a very popular idea for music to entertain your guests also. And once the drinks are flowing, the wedding guests will find themselves requesting their favourite songs from the pianist.

Without being obtrusive or in the face of any wedding guests, a live musician playing soft music during your meal will make a perfect accompaniment and allow the conversations to keep flowing during your wedding day. After the meal, come the inevitable speeches from the bride's father, the best man and the groom himself. Even the groom's father gets involved quite often these days. If you really want to make the speeches have that extra special touch, then consider hiring a professional toastmaster to introduce the speeches. Hiring children’s entertainment such as bouncy castles or children's mobile crèche can keep all the kids entertained leaving the adults to enjoy themselves and not worry that the young children are bored and moaning at the wedding.

After the speeches, the evening guests will arrive and the wedding party really begins to start. The bride and groom need to decide whether they want a wedding DJ to keep the guests dancing the night away or maybe a live wedding band or duo to play great cover versions of popular music. Make no mistake, the Wedding DJ or Wedding band can really make or break your wedding reception. Which ever one you choose, they will be

Pure indulgence, but they look fantastic and give your wedding guests something to try and certainly something to talk about. How to Choose a Wedding Photographer To ensure good-quality pictures, it is best to employ a professional photographer. When you are selecting a photographer, study their portfolio; ask if the same person who shot the pictures you are examining will be the one to shoot your wedding; and ask about any package plans he or she offers.

The cost of the different packages is controlled by adjusting the quality and sizes of prints, the size of the album, and any extra services. These vary from one photographer to another, so be sure you understand exactly what is being offered. When you have decided on a photographer, discuss any restrictions to be observed during the ceremony, concerning such details as flashbulbs and the photographers being at the altar or otherwise visible to guests.

When planning your formal bridal portrait one to two months in advance, have your hair styled and makeup applied the same as it will be on your wedding day. More and more couples are having their formal pictures taken - including the bridal portrait - at the ceremony site before the service. It is a tradition, but one based on superstition, that prevents the bride and groom from seeing each other on their wedding day before the ceremony. How to Have a Great Wedding Without Breaking the Bank

Just because the economy is in trouble, does not mean that you can not have a nice wedding. Here are some great cheap wedding ideas that will help you to create a lovely and memorable wedding, without breaking the bank. These will help you save money on the location, catering, decoration and other wedding-related expenses:

Reception Locations:

1. If you belong to a church you can often use the fellowship hall for free or for just a small fee.

2. Use the yard or house of a family member for the wedding and reception.

3. Have the reception at a local city or state park. Often they have pavilions that have electricity and are perfect for a casual outdoor affair. These are perfect for family-oriented affairs as there are usually playgrounds for the children.

Catering:

1. We cut our costs by having our relatives take care of different parts of the wedding as our wedding gift. This involved having each family member prepare a dish for the reception.

2. My mother-in-law made a fantastic wedding cake for us that I decorated.

3. You can save big money if you buy sheet cakes to serve your guests, though they never have to know. Have a single real cake layer made to cut during the reception, then have a few more fake layers made with Styrofoam but completely decorated on the outside. Once you cut the real layer, have the “cake” taken back into the kitchen, where the staff can cut the sheet cakes to serve.

Decoration:

1. Dollar stores carry a number of items that can be used to decorate the reception area. They also carry plastic champagne flutes, flowers, ribbon and decorative items in all the colors of the rainbow.

2. I went to Hobby Lobby and picked up lots of silk flowers and created all the flower arrangement for the wedding.

3. The bridesmaids carried antique lace fans, which I picked up on clearance at the local Wal-Mart and decorated with silk flowers and ribbon. They were beautiful and look great in the pictures, plus it was something unusual that the guests had not seen before.

Gowns and Makeup:

1. I bought a bridesmaid gown in ivory to wear as my wedding gown. It was beautiful, inexpensive and perfect for the hot August weather.

2. Consider shopping for your gown at a local thrift store or resale shop. I’ve seen some absolutely gorgeous wedding gowns and bridal party gowns at thrift stores. Often there’s not a thing wrong with them that a visit to a dry cleaners won’t take care of.

3. If you want to save money for the bridal party on hair, make-up and manicures/pedicures; look for a local beauty college.

4. Years ago when I was a beauty consultant for a cosmetics company, I agreed to do a friend's makeup as my wedding gift to her. She wasn't into makeup and was thrilled.

5. The night before the weddingArticle Search, my maid of honor invited all of the ladies of the wedding party over to her house for an evening of giving each other manicures and facials. It was great fun and our nails looked perfect for the wedding

Planning: Sample Wedding Budget Worksheet

When forming your wedding budget, decide first how much to spend for the wedding, then how the expenses will be divided. If you search around, you will be able to find other sample wedding budgets and wedding budget worksheets. Paying for wedding expenses can be handled in a variety of ways. The responsibility can be:

(a) assumed primarily by the brides parents

(b) assumes primarily by the grooms parents

(c) shared equally by both sets of parents

(d) shared by both families together with the bride and groom

(e) assumed entirely by the bride and groom themselves

Wedding Budget

Final responsibility for wedding costs has been stated by tradition, but there is really no right or wrong way to handle the costs. It is a matter of choice. It is appropriate to discuss the budget with both sets of parents, especially when they bear some or all of the financial responsibility. Be sure everyone involved agrees on the budget.

Wedding Budget Worksheet

A spirit of compromise should lessen the possibility of hurt feelings as your families agree together on the wedding budget. When setting your budget priorities, compromise on quantity, not quality. The amount of your budget will not necessarily determine the style of your wedding; you can have a formal wedding and reception on a limited budget with careful planning and a smaller guest list. You do not need a wedding budget worksheet to get an idea on how much to spend. The following percentage estimates may be useful in breaking down your total wedding budget into categories:

reception 48%
bridal attire 13%
flowers 10%
photography 9%
dj entertainment 8%
rentals 3%
miscellaneous fees 3%
bridesmaids gifts 2%
transportation 2%
stationary 2%

These percentages are a starting point for developing your budget and can be used as a tool when selecting various wedding vendors. To determine a guideline figure for each category in your budget, use this equation:
Your total budget x each items estimated percentage

Sample Wedding Budget

Okay, here is a sample wedding budget. Assume that your total budget is $10,000 (below the national average for how much a wedding costs, and you want to know a guideline for determining how much to spend for DJ entertainment. Using the formula above, you multiply $10,000 times .08 = $800. Therefore, as a guideline for a $10,000 wedding budget, $800 would be an appropriate amount to spend on DJ entertainment.

You can change the percentages given above, depending on what you want to emphasize in your wedding. Be sure to prioritize the following aspects of a wedding according to what is most important to you:

- number of guests to be invited
- wedding site (church, synagogue, hotel, club, at home)
- reception location (church hall, hotel, club, at home)
- bridal attire (what you will wear)
- food and beverages (what kind, and how will they be served)
- flowers (what kind and how many)
- photographs (which professional photographer company to choose)
- music (soloists, live music, DJ entertainment, dancing)
- transportation (a limousine, a luxury rental car, friends new car, or family car)

After having computed the amounts for each category, you may want to reevaluate your priorities. Make whatever adjustments are necessary to more closely meet your expectations. Once you have determined the amounts for each category, keep track of them with wedding planning forms. For some expenses that are traditionally the groom’s responsibility - such as certain flowers and his wedding attire - the cost will be determined by the overall wedding style. Other items in his budget will reflect his own preferences.

Your budget should be flexible enough so that unexpected costs will not ruin it. You can usually expect to pay from 10 to 50 percent as a deposit for services. This deposit is often required in cash. You may want to consider opening a new checking account allotted for your wedding and reception expenses.

Avoiding Wedding Day Disasters

Wedding planning helps to avoid disasters on your most special day. But despite all efforts to achieve a perfect wedding there will always be small hiccups along the road that could turn your day into a major disaster! With proper planning and a simple change in your priorities you will be able to relax and actually enjoy marrying the person you love.

There seems to be no such thing as a disaster proof wedding. It is not uncommon for couples to find their wedding day to be plagued with one or two significant disaster. This article isn't really so much about how to avoid your wedding disaster, or even how to minimize the wedding disaster potential, but how to handle one so that the disaster does not have to ruin, or even heavily impact, your wedding day.

Planning a wedding is one half optimistic jubilation and dream realization and one half delegation. Division of labor or proper delegation on your wedding day plans may result to a fabulous wedding. If, however, you become too demanding, delegate too heavily and heap piles of responsibilities onto just one or two people, or try to master every chore yourself, you are definitely asking for wedding day disasters to show up and make themselves well known on the big day.

Small Disasters, Large Disasters, and Opportunities

Disasters are going to range from small to large. Anything can happen on a wedding day. The flower girl might wet her pants or the groom might faint, forget his vows, or forget where the church is and what time he is supposed to be there. Using your potential disasters as an opportunity requires a very special mind set, but one that anyone is able to achieve. Weddings become so important, especially to women, because they earmark an event that is "supposed to happen" in a very "specific manner."

When we can start to let go of the "supposed to" and "should" theories, then we can focus in a more determined fashion on what is most vital to us, why we are going through with this highly expensive and taxing endeavor, and how we can make sure we enjoy our own wedding day. For all the money, time, energy, and thought that we put into a wedding, so many men and women alike find that they either barely even remember the day or didn't have time to enjoy the day. We usually spend more money, time, and energy on wedding planning than we do for vacations and yet we don't completely enjoy them or at least remember them? How logical is that?

Turning a problem into an opportunity is not easy, but it is very simple. The primary step is learning to recognize any chance or room for improvement or change from the traditional wedding ceremony. The second is learning to allow yourself an ideal emotional day and let the details fall as close to as you hoped as possible. If your emotional experience is beautiful and life affirming, the physical experience around you will be better.

A Change in Priorities Breathes New Life into Weddings

A simple change in your priorities may be just what you need in order to achieve your perfect wedding. Simple changes in your priorities or minor shift in your perspective might as well change your entire wedding day experience. The ability to be flexible no matter what happens is just the beginning. Nothing will change and it will not make you less joyful while you exchange wedding vows if you allow your flower girl to change into different clothes after she wets her pants. Watching your abouttobehusband go on the fly when it is his turn to recite his wedding vows allows you to witness honest beauty rather than watching him blow it. These small but vital changes in perspective are a strong piece of bringing together the perfect wedding day. Ditching the ideas of "could be" and "should be" and "want it to be" and transforming your day into an honest celebration of love, family, friends, and the future creates a while new vibe for the entire wedding.

With enough perspective alterations your wedding day can go from that story book fantasy that ends with a notated disaster that stands to ruin the whole day to a beautiful day without pretense, without judgmentArticle Search, and without emotional distress.
